The Jig Saw Blade

Varieties

Tang shank or ‘T’ shank Makita jig saw blades start at 3” in length and go up to 7-1/8”.  There are few applications for these blades; woods, plastics, metals, and veneers.  They have the same capability in cuts with one addition, the 7-1/8” long blade is designed to cut thick material with a cutting length of 5-7/8”

There are also Makita jig saw blades in both shanks that can do scrolling cuts.
