Husky Air Compressors

There are 10 different models of Husky air compressor currently manufactured exclusively for Home Depot. They range from a handheld, 12-Volt Inflator to the big, 80-gallon Pro Husky air compressor featuring 175-PSI maximum air pressure.

The Husky air compressor, manufactured by Campbell Hausfeld, lets you utilize all kinds of tools: spray guns, air-powered sanders, grinders, wrenches, hammers, etc. When you are ready to purchase a Husky air compressor, it pays to take a little time determine the right one for your needs.

Husky Air Compressor Selection

The Husky air compressor comes in models horizontal and vertical. Vertical models are larger, but take up less floor space. These are meant to stay in one place and, with excepting the 26-gallon vertical model, don'tt have wheels or handles to move them around easily. Horizontal models, however, offer portability and can be moved around much easier.

The difference between the two types lies mainly in the amount of power delivered to your air tools. The 80-gallon vertical Husky air compressor model, for example, delivers 72.2/25.1 SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute) of compreesed air at 40/90 PSI (per square inch). The 8-gallon horizontal Husky air compressor, delivers a modest 0/2.6 SCFM at 40/90 PSI.

When considering which type of Husky air compressorto buy, many say it's better to get a larger capacity compressor than a smaller one. What kind of tools you will be using along with frequency of use should be the determining factors. A smaller Husky air compressor makes much more sense If you already know you will be using it infrequently with smaller, household-type air tools.

Portable Husky Air Compressor

The Husky easy-air compressor comes with hose, blowgun and a 5 piece inflation kit. With it you can breeze through the most difficult jobs. It's lightweight and easily carried from place to place. You can use this Husky compressor to nail, inflate, paint and even clean up. It is perfect for use in a remote area, as it so small and portable. This compressor is very quiet and since it is oil-less, requires no maintenance.

Another good Husky air compressor is the 4 gallon tank mounted one. It comes with a 25 foot air hose and is perfect for a small shop. Another good one is the 32 gallon air compressor, also designed for jobs around the house. This model is a vertical design and comes with a variety of accessories and tools.

A portable Husky compressor is ideal for those who spend a lot of time on the road or camping. It is easily stored and can be used to inflate tires, blow-up kayaks and rafts.

I bought a Husky Air Compressor, 1.5 gal., Air Scout, Model #41004 and it came with a little black bag full of plastic fittings and stuff. I have no earthly idea how to use any of it. There were no instructions and the "owner's manual" on their web site was useless. Can anyone tell me how to use the various tools?
