Emglo compressors are easily carried from one place to another. They're built to take the abuse of being in the back of a truck and heavy use on different job sites.

With an Emglo air compressor, the entire motor assembly is shock mounted on a square tube base. There are holes pre-drilled in the base, if you decide that you'd rather the unit to be stationary. All connections between tank and motor are flexible, which allows for the movement of the compressor when in operation. Parts that are easily broken, like the pressure gauge and the main hose connection are inside the unit. These are protected by the motor, so they won’t get knocked off as the compressor is carried around. The Emglo air compressor doesn't have as much vibration as other compressors do. You do need a 20-amp circuit to get the compressor running, however. They require a fair amount of electricity to get started.

Maintenance of the Emglo air compressors

Since this compressor is oil lubricated, it requires periodic oil changes. These aren't difficult to do. The drain plug and dipstick are easy to reach. Two drain valves, and a pressure relief valve let you easily drain any accumulated water. Made of cast iron, they're designed for rugged use.
