Coping Crown Molding

There are are a few methods for coping, and the fastest methods are those that make use of a jig saw. The method you will learn in this video is uses a combination of a jig saw and a coping saw.

The most accurate way to cope crown molding with a jig saw is to set the foot at a 45 degree angle and hold the saw upside down. This takes some getting used to, but once mastered it's like anything else you do repeatedly - a breeze.

Coping is, once learned, the fastest and easiest way to achieve tight inside corners on your crown molding every time!
