I used the Husky air compressor about 14 times, then the pressure knob stripped it's weak alloy threads. What a piece of junk! It only cost me $11 per use. It also was too weak to power any air tools, but at least it didn't catch fire like the other Husky compressors.

what a joke....my compressor has less than 4 hours on it and either the piston or the ring broke..when i took it back to Lowes, which is always a fun trip, i was told i had to contact Kobalt sense it was older than 90 days....when i called the number on the tank i got some kind of marketing firm. so i went to lowes again and got the number off of one in the store...when i called them they asked for the model number and imediatly told me the company that manufactured my compressor had gone out of buisness. so who is gonna stand behind the waranty?...no one...he said he could sell me the pump assymbly...210.00..what a joke...allmost what i paid for the compressor to start with...will never by anything KOBALT again and i am telling everyone i know what has happened to me...i dont care who makes what..if it has KOBALT on it KOBALT should stand good for it

You might want to take another look at this Rigid saw. I looked one over at Home Depot and found that the blade would drift to the right through the cut. This was due to the way the slides were mounted in the castings and could not be adjusted. Seriously, it could not be adjusted out. 1/16" left to right travel does not leave a 90 degree cut.

I would double check before you buy. They may have fixed the issue as of this remark, but buyer beware especially for older saws. Lots of them being dumped on Craigslist because of this defect.

can't cut many crown sizes with this saw. Get the 12 inch, but Dewalt is good.
