what a joke....my compressor has less than 4 hours on it and either the piston or the ring broke..when i took it back to Lowes, which is always a fun trip, i was told i had to contact Kobalt sense it was older than 90 days....when i called the number on the tank i got some kind of marketing firm. so i went to lowes again and got the number off of one in the store...when i called them they asked for the model number and imediatly told me the company that manufactured my compressor had gone out of buisness. so who is gonna stand behind the waranty?...no one...he said he could sell me the pump assymbly...210.00..what a joke...allmost what i paid for the compressor to start with...will never by anything KOBALT again and i am telling everyone i know what has happened to me...i dont care who makes what..if it has KOBALT on it KOBALT should stand good for it |
