Baseboard Molding

There is a wide variety of baseboard molding available. Here is an overview some types.

Base Molding comes in many shapes, sizes and materials. You can use multiple pieces together in many different configurations or keep it simple.

The purpose of baseboard moulding is to create a finished look at the transition from floor to wall. In choosing a baseboard, keep in mind that it should be proportionate in size to your ceiling heights. A well-chosen baseboard can really set the feeling of a room.

Baseboard mouldings should be chosen to compliment the rest of the decor and should blend well with door casings. Baseboards are usually thinner than the casing.
